Le Loop - supporting the William Wates Memorial Trust
🚴♂️ Riding Every Stage of the Tour de France – For a Cause That Matters
This summer, I’m taking on the ride of a lifetime: Le Loop – cycling the entire official Tour de France route, one week ahead of the professionals. That’s over 3,000 km across 21 stages in 3 intense weeks, starting on Friday 25th June 2025 and finishing, like the pros, in Paris.
But I’m not doing this just for the personal challenge. I’m doing it to raise funds for the William Wates Memorial Trust, a charity that supports some of the most disadvantaged young people in the UK.
Why It Matters
Too many young people in the UK face barriers that limit their potential – poverty, crime, lack of access to safe environments or meaningful opportunities. The William Wates Memorial Trust gives grants to amazing grassroots charities that use sport, the arts and education to help these young people stay away from crime and violence and find a path to a brighter future.
Every penny raised goes directly to the Trust, enabling them to support life-changing projects around the country.
The Challenge
-
21 stages
-
3,000+ kilometers
-
Mountain climbs, brutal weather, and mental battles
-
All ridden in the spirit of the Tour de France
This is more than just a physical feat, it’s a commitment to making a difference.
How You Can Help
Please consider supporting this journey by donating whatever you can. Your contribution will go directly to helping young people overcome enormous odds and build a future they can be proud of.
