My Updates
Dad Bod to Bike Bod
Sunday 9th NovDad bod to bike bod. Challenge accepted!
Le Tour and mountains are calling and after little nudge from partners in crime I’m off to tackle 4 stages of next years Tour de France (2026) and not just any 4! iIv committed to take on four big days through the Alps with two accents of Alpe d’Huez!
4 days cycling, 659km, 15,100m ascent!
Although iv got previous experience of riding numerous tour stages this time the challenge is bigger. After a bit of hiatus from any serious riding iv got to get this unfit dad bod to a mountain climbing bike bod.
I will riding along side numerous other riders as part of the Le Loop and there fantastic work raising funds for the William Wates Memorial Trust. As part of my commitment to ride I have targeted to raise £1,200 to support in there good work.
While I’m putting in the blood sweat and maybe some tears I need little help along the way.
How can you help -
Like share and spread the word/fundraising page.
Give me a nudge encouragement(friendly abuse) to keep the training up
Stop me eating to many biscuits/beer
And lastly it would be greatly appreciated where possible to drop a donation.
The fundraised money is entirely separate from the participation fee - donations do not pay for my Tour.
