Le Loop - raising money for the William Wates Memorial Trust
From 15-18th July this year I will ride part of 'Le Loop' - a charity ride that follows the route of the 2025 Tour de France, a week before the pros. I will be taking on 4 stages of Le Loop covering the mountain stages from Mont Ventoux through to the The French Alps.
Along with around 100 other riders, our objective while riding is to raise money for the William Wates Memorial Trust whose mission is to help disadvantaged young people fulfil their potential by giving grants to charities that engage young people through the medium of sports, arts and education. This is a chance to give something back and support those who aren't lucky enough to enjoy the advantages in life that most of us take for granted.
Le Loop is a tough and worthy challenge and I hope to do it after a week of training in early July around the climbs and cols of the Alp D'Huez area. I will keep this page up to date and thank you for any support you can give.
