Back in the Saddle: Taking on Le Loop for Charity Once More 💪

Dear friends,

Reflecting on last year's efforts, I've come to realise that it simply wasn't enough. For those who witnessed my struggle through three stages of cycling with a busted knee, I owe it to you to do it right this time. That's why I'm embarking on an even more ambitious journey: cycling over 750km and conquering over 16,000 meters of mountains and hills, equivalent to nearly two Mount Everests, all in just 5 days!

Le Loop presents an extraordinary challenge, tracing the demanding route of the Tour de France. While I won't be tackling the full 3,492km tour, I am eagerly taking on 5 Alps stages of the 21 total stages to support the William Wates Memorial Trust (WWMT).

This charity ride isn't for the faint-hearted, but it offers a chance to change the trajectory of young lives at risk of being ensnared by crime and violence. By supporting WWMT, we're investing in programs that utilise sports, arts, and education to empower disadvantaged youth, helping them unlock their full potential.

With your generosity, we can make a tangible impact on these deserving young individuals who deserve every opportunity to thrive. At a time when many charities are struggling, let's band together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

PS: The fundraised money is entirely separate from the participation fee - donations do not pay for my Tour. It's been a tough couple of years for charities and particularly for young people. This is our chance to give something back and help support young people who aren't lucky enough to enjoy the advantages in life that most of us take for granted.
